Your data rights
Under the GDPR, rights depend on the processing and applicable exceptions. You can ask for:
- Access: information about processing and a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: inaccurate or incomplete data to be corrected.
- Erasure: deletion where the legal conditions apply.
- Restriction: limits on processing in specified circumstances.
- Portability: eligible data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where processing is automated and based on consent or contract.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons related to your situation; object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdrawal: withdraw consent at any time where it is the legal basis.
Making a request
Email info@lingogranny.com with the subject “Data protection request”. Describe your request and the data involved. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive information with your initial request. We may ask for proportionate information if necessary to verify identity.
Response times
GDPR requests normally require a response without undue delay and within one month of receipt. An extension of up to two additional months may apply for complex or numerous requests; you must be told within the first month, with reasons. Requests are normally free; limited exceptions apply to manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Complaints
You may complain to a supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Bulgaria, this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP). You do not have to contact us first.
